From the North o South, the direction to follow is NAPOLI (NAPLES)
Coming from ROME, once in NAPLES look for the A3 signposted SALERNO/REGGIO CALABRIA - PENISOLA SORRENTINA.
DO NOT FOLLOW THE ROUTE INDICATED SALERNO ONLY
You take the Castellammare di Stabia (C:MARE DI STABIA) cut off. (just after POMPEI), which takes you throught VICO EQUENSE.
Follow the signposts SORRENTO through the towns META, PIANO DI SORRENTO and S.AGNELLO.
After the Centre of Sorrento you will come to a fork in the road.
Take the left sign posted S:AGATA sui due Golfi. You're now in Via Nastro Verde. Continue uphill passing through olive and lemon grove on either side, punctuated by cozy, small white villas and old "tufo" houses that gaze over the Bay of Naples toward Mt. Vesuvius and "HOTEL IL NIDO"!
